A pitch deck is a presentation or overview of your business, often created using PowerPoint, Keynote or Prezi. Pitch Decks are used to give an audience an overview of your business (usually extracted from your business plan). A pitch deck is often required when pitching to investors, or even potential co-founders.
We have designed many pitch decks that have received millions in external funding.
An effective pitch deck tells a story that takes prospects on a journey. It uses design, data visualization, and precise copy to tell that story. But most of all, it conveys a message that speaks directly to the wants and needs of your prospects. Pitch decks or pitch books can be used to present to investors, customers or potential partners.
We stage our process to ensure time and money are not wasted during the process. Developing your pitch deck looks like this:
We have a kickoff call with your key stakeholders, to gather as much information as possible about you, your team, your business and what you want to achieve. All key stakeholders are given a detailed questionnaire to complete – which helps form the background and basis for your deck.
We take your information and research your market, current conditions and analyse the best way to present your data to your desired audience.
We ensure we believe your idea is in fact investable. If in our research phase we see key risks, threats or weaknesses that we feel have not been addressed adequately we look at how to fix these and have a further consultation with you and your key stakeholders. We ensure you are aware of any perceived risks and we develop strategies for action together.
With a validated & solid concept we build a framework of the slides we are going to prepare. A typical pitch deck could have the following slides:
- Cover page
- Problem & Solution
- Product / Service Overview
- Market Validation
- Market Size
- Industry Analysis
- Competitor Analysis
- Your Team
We agree on the slide framework, and then begin building the content first, before we style & design the deck. Once we have agreed on the content & positioning, we then get our team of graphic design experts to finesse and refine. They will put together a stunning, functional and editable document for you to present to your audience.
We present the deck to you either in person or via video conference and give you a one on one training pitch session. This will include speakers notes & how & what to say to your audience. We will give you investor tips and tricks, sales strategies and the tools you need to confidently take your deck and get the most out of it.
